Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-10-05

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Acrotop LLC (“we,” “us”) handles information in connection with the MasterPiece app (the “App”). We built MasterPiece to be private by design: you never create an account or tell us your name, and we collect only what we need to run and improve the App, as described below.

Information we collect

The App does not ask for and does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location, and it does not request microphone or camera access.

To support cloud sync, the Weekly Challenge, and feedback, the App automatically creates an anonymous account identified by a random ID (shown as “Player ID” at the bottom left of the App’s feedback screen). You never sign up or log in. Its recovery credentials are randomly generated; on iPhone and iPad they are kept in your personal iCloud account so your progress can follow you to a new device, and on Mac they are kept only on that Mac. This random ID is not linked to your name or contact details.

Game progress & cloud sync

Your game progress, settings, and which puzzles or packs you own are stored on your device, in your personal iCloud account (on iPhone and iPad, if iCloud is enabled), and in a cloud backup hosted by Unity Gaming Services and associated with your random ID. The cloud backup is used only to sync and restore your progress.

Purchases

The App is free to download and offers optional in-app purchases for additional art packs. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment card details. Apple’s handling of your transaction is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy. As part of the analytics described below, we record which pack a purchase was for and whether it succeeded, but never any payment details.

Diagnostics & analytics

The App uses Unity Analytics to understand how it is used. This includes events such as which packs and paintings you open, which puzzles you start or complete and at what difficulty, how you respond to prompts to rate the App or send feedback, purchase outcomes, and performance measurements, together with your device model, operating system version, app version, language, and basic technical details of your device (such as processor, memory, screen size, and battery level). These events are associated with your random ID, with a separate random identifier created when the App is installed, and with a device identifier (on iPhone and iPad, the identifier for vendor, or IDFV; on Mac, an identifier derived from the computer’s hardware), and Unity derives an approximate country from your IP address. We use this data only to improve the App’s stability, content, and experience. We do not use it to identify you, for advertising, or to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Feedback you send us

If you choose to send feedback from within the App, we receive the text you write, along with your app version, device model, operating system and its version, the App’s language and your device’s language, the number of puzzles you have completed, how many times the App has shown you its rating prompt, how you reached the feedback screen, and when you sent it, associated with your random ID. Please do not include personal information in your message. Because we do not collect contact details, we cannot reply to feedback; we use it only to improve the App.

How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not show third-party advertising in the App and do not track you. The data described above is processed on our behalf by our service provider Unity Technologies (Unity Gaming Services), and payments are handled by Apple. We do not share your information with anyone else for marketing purposes.

Children’s privacy

MasterPiece is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information such as names or contact details from children. The usage data and feedback described above are associated only with a random ID and are used solely to operate and improve the App.

Data retention & deletion

We keep information only as long as we need it. Analytics events are kept by Unity Analytics for 13 months and then deleted automatically. Feedback you send is kept for 6 months and then deleted. Your cloud backup is kept until you ask us to delete it. You can ask us to delete all data associated with your random ID at any time: email support@acrotop.com and include your Player ID (in the App, go to Settings → Rate & Feedback → Send feedback; your Player ID is shown at the bottom left of that screen, and you can press and hold it to copy it). Within 30 days, we will delete your cloud backup and feedback, ask Unity to delete your analytics data, and reply to confirm. Progress that exists only in the deleted backup cannot be restored afterward. Deleting the App removes the data stored on your device, but not the cloud backup.

Changes & contact

We may update this policy from time to time; we will revise the “Effective date” above when we do. For any questions about this policy or your privacy, contact us at support@acrotop.com.
